kids.moseotool.com ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal data of every user of this platform — kids, parents and teachers alike. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used and protected.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in plain text), and role (kid, parent, teacher, admin).
  • Kid profile information: a display name, age/class band and learning progress (XP, streaks, badges, activity history). We deliberately avoid collecting more than is needed to run the learning experience.
  • Usage data: pages visited, activities completed, AI tool prompts/outputs (for moderation and quality), and device/browser information.
  • Payment information: subscription payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details — only the subscription status and transaction reference are stored on our servers.
  • Cookies: used for authentication (session cookies) and, where enabled, product analytics. See "Cookies" below.

2. Children's privacy

kids.moseotool.com is designed to be used by children under parental or teacher supervision. Kid accounts are created and linked by a parent or teacher, who retains oversight of the child's profile. We do not knowingly collect more personal data from a child than is necessary for the service, do not sell children's data, and moderate AI interactions to keep them age-appropriate and free of requests for personal information. Parents/guardians may contact us at support@moseotool.com at any time to review, correct or delete their child's data.

3. How we use information

  • To provide, personalise and improve the learning experience.
  • To process subscription payments and manage your account/billing status.
  • To moderate AI-generated content for safety and quality.
  • To send essential account, billing and security emails.
  • To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and technical issues.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us run the platform, under confidentiality obligations:

  • Razorpay — payment processing for subscriptions.
  • Email delivery providers — transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts).
  • AI providers (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) — to generate AI tutor responses, stories, worksheets and quizzes. Prompts are moderated and we avoid sending unnecessary personal information to these providers.

We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and platform.

5. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to protect the platform (CSRF protection). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing (bcrypt). We use HTTPS/TLS in production, security headers, and role-based access controls to limit who can see what data.

7. Data retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymise personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records (e.g. billing history) to comply with law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your (or your child's) personal data at any time by emailing support@moseotool.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with an updated effective date.
